Stage Design

For the past several years, White Tie Productions has supported the Visit Phoenix Annual Meeting, an event that brings together the Greater Phoenix community for a day of celebration, education and networking. With an annual program, our team is always looking for ways to build on the year before and keep the experience fresh for returning attendees.

This year, we created a polished, elevated stage design centered on a large LED wall with a custom-fabricated scenic frame. Vertical banner screens on either side expanded the canvas and created more opportunities for presentations, video and custom show content.

The scenic frame was designed to align directly with the LED wall, requiring close coordination between scenic, video and creative throughout the process. Detailed drawings, precise measurements and on-site adjustments brought the physical and digital elements together into one cohesive design.

Creative Content

The expanded screen configuration gave our creative team a much larger canvas. Instead of treating each display independently, we designed content across the entire stage, allowing graphics and motion to move between surfaces and create different looks throughout the program.

Our team developed the show graphics package, including session introductions, bumpers, transitions and presenter graphics totaling more than 300 pieces of unique content. The stage could move seamlessly from clean presentation layouts to high-energy, full-stage visuals, helping each part of the program feel distinct while maintaining a consistent Visit Phoenix identity.

Complete Event Production

White Tie managed the technical production of the program, including audio, video, lighting, playback, show calling and stage management. We seamlessly scripted and cued the show in Script Elephant, giving our team, the client, and presenters a central place to reference for run-of-show and graphic content review.

Our creative and production teams worked together throughout pre-production, installation and rehearsals to make sure every element supported the overall experience. Lighting was built around the scenic design and screen content, video was mapped to the custom display configuration, and cues were refined throughout rehearsals.

By showtime, scenic, lighting, video and graphics worked together as one complete environment rather than separate pieces of the production.

An Annual Event That Keeps Evolving

Our longstanding partnership with Visit Phoenix gives us the opportunity to build on what we've learned each year while continuing to introduce new creative and technical ideas.

For this year's Annual Meeting, that meant bringing stage design, technology and content together more closely than ever, creating a flexible visual environment that could support everything from presentations and data to high-energy video and entertainment.
