Cricfest was a promotional event for Hotstar, an India-based streaming service owned by 21st Century Fox, that provides international access to Indian television, movies and sports with a major focus on cricket. This event was free for Hotstar subscribers and other community members to attend. The primary show component of the event featured a talk-show style interview with several cricket legends. The show was recorded live and distributed post-event to subscribers via the Hotstar platform. White Tie provided full production services and logistics management for the event, and our creative team worked alongside the Hotstar team to design the stage and layout of the room.

The 180° photo booth featured a custom 16’ curved backdrop and custom branded cricket props. The booth created animated GIFs complete with event branding. Attendees could share directly to their personal social media channels right from the booth controls.

Cricfest Gully Crick

By far one of the most eye-catching and popular activations at the event, the Gully Cricket cage gave attendees the opportunity to suit-up and try their hand at cricket in a safe and controlled environment. The 50’x20’ cage was custom built on the 4th story terrace of the event venue specifically for this event.

Cricfest Demo Booth

Complete with various mobile devices running both Android and iOS softwares, the demo booth gave non-subscribers the opportunity to experience the Hotstar platform hands-on. Trained event staff were available to answer questions and help attendees sign-up for free trials of the streaming service.
